In the center of the historical district and just a few blocks from everything that Apalachicola has to offer, The Majestic Jewel is the best way to experience Southern Grandeur in this charming little town.  Plenty of well lit parking so you can park your car and walk everywhere;  restaurants, galleries, museums, shops, pubs, river wharf, park & marina with fishing pier.  Boat trailors welcome as well!  Take a walk or tour the sites on our loaner trike & bikes!  History and beauty surround us!

The main level is furnished in a formal yet comfortable mix of period antiques with gold gilded accents and Persian rugs.  The stunning Deadhead Cypress walls & ceilings of the Grand Salon and the Dining Room were harvested from the local waters and are original to the home.   In our Hospitality Lobby we offer complimentary self-serve coffee & tea, cold drinks & bottle water, snacks, cereal & milk.  A kitchenette is available with a microwave, toaster, counter top oven, extra fridge, sink & dish washer.  A washer & dryer, a half bath and a loaner closet with beach chairs, games, umbrellas & necessities are also located here.  Three elegant guest suites are available on the main level.  We encourage guests to enjoy all of the common areas!

The second floor is also furnished in an eclectic mix of antiques but has a more casual look with nature inspired decor.  There are a few quirky light fixtures as well as a gallery of art worth seeing in the breezeway gathering room.  The hosts' living quarters, a full kitchen (available for guest use only when renting the entire 2nd floor~See Listing~"Above it All") and three huge guest suites are located on this level as well as a wrap around veranda.

The constant breeze & the amazing views on the wrap around verandas make them a favorite spot for our guests to unwind.  Several sitting areas with cushioned chairs & rockers are available.  It's the perfect spot to wait out a storm or to catch a sunset!

All suites were designed with our guests' comfort in mind!  Each is elegantly furnished with antiques, a top of the line mattress, amazing pillows, fine linens, plush towels, bath products, hairdryers & make-up mirrors.  Modern amenities were added while keeping with the design elements of this majestic home.  Each has a modern bath, central AC & heat, ceiling fans, flat screen TV's with cable & movie channels & wireless internet.

Each suite is so unique & has its' own ambiance, so please take a look at all of the listings before you decide!  The small difference in the nightly rate makes a big difference in the size of the room!
